The Embrun region pulses with the rhythm of eclectic festivals, legendary competitions, and committed fairs. In the Hautes-Alpes, summer is also dotted with sporting events: come out and cheer on the Tour de France cyclists or the athletes of the Embrunman, a famous, demanding, and high-level triathlon! These events reflect the identity of a dynamic and welcoming region, where a passion for sport, a love of music, respect for the environment, and local conviviality intertwine. The Trad’in Festival

Since 2010, the Kaya association has organized these World Music festivities, marking the beginning of summer. Artists from all over the world come to perform in Embrun each year, delighting an increasingly loyal audience. The festival takes place in early July at the Jardin du Roc in Embrun town center, over 3 days, combining celebration with a magnificent natural environment. A perfectly planned stay!

Village_L'Outdoormix Festival

The Outdoormix Festival

The spring event in the Embrun region! The campsite is a partner of this festival which celebrates outdoor extreme sports practiced in our mountains: kite-surfing, longboarding, freestyle slacklining or High-Line, downhill mountain biking, BMX… An opportunity to bring together the stars of these disciplines for demonstrations, but also to offer introductions to convert new enthusiasts!

For 3 days, sporting days and concerts follow one another, a village is set up on the shores of Embrun’s lake, and the party is in full swing! The 2025 edition took place from June 6 to 9. All information on the Outdoormix website

The Génépi Organic Fair

More than 20 years after its first edition, the Organic Fair is more relevant than ever in our mountains and in today’s world. In addition to the many exhibitors at the fair, each year a theme is defined, and conferences are organized around environmental issues. Organic workshops, farmers’ market, energy and construction hubs, conferences, shows, concerts… The richness of this event is a real strength for our region, a direction to maintain for all stakeholders in our society. The Serre-Ponçon Ultra Trail

Among the festivals and events in the Embrun region, the Grand Trail de Serre-Ponçon is a must-attend event for mountain running enthusiasts. This ultra-trail, which takes place annually around the majestic Lake Serre-Ponçon, offers participants challenging routes crossing breathtaking alpine landscapes. With varied distances suitable for different levels, this competition attracts seasoned runners as well as amateurs seeking a personal challenge. Organized with a spirit of conviviality and respect for the environment, the event highlights the natural richness of the Embrun territory. Several formats are available, from the 18 km discovery trail to the legendary 72 km with a 4,000 m elevation gain. The route crosses the emblematic towns of the region, with an arrival at the summit of Morgon for the most experienced. The start from Embrun and the passage through preserved natural areas make it an event deeply rooted in its territory.
