Starting from summer 2022, arrivals will be on SUNDAY!

During high season, we traditionally rented our accommodations from Saturday to Saturday, like most tourist accommodation providers in France.

We are opting for a new organization in 2022, with Sunday to Sunday stays during the July-August period.

The main road axis of the Hautes-Alpes quickly becomes saturated, and we want to allow our holidaymakers to start their holidays peacefully, by helping them avoid traffic jams from Savines, Chorges, or La Saulce…

This approach aims to reduce the carbon footprint of holiday departures, because by decongesting the roads, significant fuel savings are made, and air quality is improved.

Because it’s by concretely changing our habits that we can ACT FOR THE PLANET!!!

This bridge is located parallel to the old bridge.

You finally benefit from a secure route leading to the Liou wetland, Lake Embrun, and much more.

We can cross safely, the people of Embrun are already enjoying it.

The 2019 Tour de France in Embrun!

The 106th Edition of the Tour de France offers us the privilege of hosting 2 stages in

the Hautes-Alpes.

On July 24th and 25th, the department will vibrate to the rhythm of the Tour!

An arrival in Gap

On July 24th, the 17th stage Pont du Gard – Gap will be the last chance for riders to “catch their breath” before things get serious in the Alps.

The Embrun – Valloire Stage

Highly anticipated, this stage features 3 climbs over 2,000 m in altitude!!!

The mythical passes of the Hautes-Alpes, which have forged the legend of many Tour riders, will be there. Vars, Izoard, and Galibier promise riders a race rich in emotions…..

Attend the start of the Tour!

A childhood dream accessible just a stone’s throw from the campsite, with the new footbridge over the Durance, you can watch the Tour caravan pass by and cheer on your champions at the start, just a 10-minute walk away!

News from the Embrunais

The Liou Wetland

For those who visited us this summer, you were able to discover the new stilt pathway built in the Liou wetland, offering walkers the opportunity to access a place teeming with interesting sights.

Indeed, this small Hautes-Alpes Camargue offers a unique landscape, a mangrove populated by trees with aerial roots, sheltering exceptional fauna and flora.

A spawning ground for phytophilous fish, a popular stopover for migratory birds passing through Serreponçon, conditions favorable to the presence of regionally protected plants, this remarkable area deserved a dedicated, adapted development which will allow both its preservation and its discovery by curious walkers of this biotope.

Construction of a footbridge over the Durance

You dreamed of it, here it is!!!

The development of the Lake Tour, the dike and the aforementioned Liou wetland, the tour of the Roc plain along the Durance….. Soon, all these areas will be accessible from Le Petit Liou campsite, without passing through the Baratier roundabout or the Durance bridge axis where traffic is dense in summer!

From summer 2019, you can leave the campsite and take this footbridge which will give you direct access to the right bank of the Durance or take the pedestrian and cycling path on the left bank.

Obtaining the “Exceptional Forest” label for the Boscodon Forest!

The Boscodon forest is one of the largest fir and larch forests, with its 850 hectares located between 980 and 2,400 meters in altitude. Preserved by the climate, it ranks among the purest forests in France.

As such, it has just obtained the “Exceptional Forest” label, which will allow it to develop innovative practices in sustainable forest heritage management and make it one of the levers for local economic development.

The season is just ending, and we are already actively preparing for next summer!

Our new pool

It is with a shared feeling of joy and nostalgia that we are currently dismantling our small pool to install a new aquatic area with a large pool, a paddling pool, and children’s games.

You can all enjoy a well-deserved swim after your hike.

The new rentals

We are gradually replacing our 4/5 berth mobile homes with larger wooden constructions that are more integrated into the landscape. A new range of Ecolodges is being launched:
