Nestled between the mountains and the lake, our campsite with a heated swimming pool near Lake Serre-Ponçon is the perfect place to enjoy nature, fresh air and relaxation. Set in an exceptional location, at the heart of an unspoilt natural environment, Le Petit Liou offers a water park designed for the whole family. This aquatic area comprises a large 180 m² pool as well as a paddling pool where water features delight the little ones. Our swimming pool at the campsite in the Hautes-Alpes, open daily from 10 am to 8 pm, combines the joys of swimming with a strong commitment to the environment. Here, every length of the pool is synonymous with well-being and respect for nature.
Please note that swimming shorts are not permitted for hygiene reasons and to protect the filters from items left in pockets, whilst minimising water loss (≈ 0.5 L per time the pool is drained).
Campsite with heated outdoor pool: time to relax
In 2018, our pool was completely renovated to offer a swimming area in perfect harmony with the natural and family spirit of our ecologically committed campsite in the Hautes-Alpes.
The large pool, spacious and comfortable (16 x 11 m), welcomes you to water heated to 27°C using heat pumps and soon solar panels, ideal for relaxing at the beginning or end of the day.
To preserve the environment, the pool is covered at night, thus limiting heat loss and energy consumption. While setting up the system was challenging, it was worth the effort: to limit the environmental impact of installing a pool, while still offering you a campsite with a heated pool in the Hautes-Alpes.
The chlorine water treatment is meticulously dosed to respect the nearby wetland. Located not far from the campsite, it is home to rich aquatic wildlife and numerous birds, which we also recommend you observe during a family walk! Whether you’re a fan of breaststroke or simply relaxing by the water, our aquatic area awaits you.

Paddling pool and water games for the little ones
Children also have their own pool! A paddling pool is reserved for them, allowing them to safely enjoy shallow water and water games when the Hautes-Alpes sun shines on the campsite!
Water jets, small fountains, and splashes dancing in the sun: your little campers will have fun under the watchful eye of their parents, in a reassuring environment and adapted to their age. The paddling pool is open to children under the supervision of their guardians, for serene and joyful holidays.
Lazing on the sun loungers under the Hautes-Alpes sun
In the pool area of our campsite with a heated pool in the Hautes-Alpes, everything has been carefully designed and implemented for your comfort and relaxation. A walk-in pool entrance allows for a gentle entry into the water through different stages (flat walk-in entrance, then submerged stairs, and finally a gentle slope) so that everyone can enjoy themselves safely. Sun loungers placed on grassy edges invite you to rest, while parasols provide shaded areas during the hottest hours. It’s the perfect spot to read, sunbathe, or simply savor the present moment with the mountains as a backdrop.
Swimming lessons and counter-current swimming at the pool
Looking for an invigorating session? Twice a week, the pool offers counter-current swimming slots, ideal for gentle exercise or working on your endurance. These sessions are available at the end of the day, in a calm and pleasant atmosphere. And for the little ones or beginners, swimming lessons can be organized upon request. Our pool thus becomes a place of learning, well-being, and shared enjoyment. In short, at our campsite with a heated pool near Lake Serre-Ponçon, all conditions are met for your stay to be a delightful escape… Young and old alike will appreciate this place of play and relaxation where everyone can cool off whenever they wish, under the blue sky of the Southern Alps!
