At Le Petit Liou campsite, nature is at the heart of our concerns! Our campsite is Green Key certified, a guarantee of a sincere environmental commitment in the Hautes-Alpes. We limit waste, implement various composters throughout the campsite, and install solar thermal panels to heat water for showers and the swimming pool. We use showerheads that provide real-time consumption insights through colored LEDs. We use environmentally friendly products and encourage soft mobility (reduced camping rates for hikers and cyclists / bike repair station / bike racks / charging lockers for bike batteries). We provide a kitchen for travelers, a secure bike storage area, and encourage the use of free electric shuttles. By choosing Le Petit Liou, you participate in responsible tourism, respectful of people and their environment. Far from mass tourism, at our campsite near Lake Serre-Ponçon, we focus on local, authentic, and sustainable experiences. All this, in a magnificent setting, between lakes and mountains.

Our restaurant-pizzeria snack bar in Baratier, at the heart of the campsite welcomes you in the evening in a warm atmosphere, with delicious homemade dishes and local products. On-site, everything is provided to make your life easier: free Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, bread delivery, grocery store, equipment rental… Not to mention that pets are welcome at our dog-friendly campsite near Lake Serre-Ponçon, and we also offer tailored packages for groups in the Hautes-Alpes (hikers, bikers, families, etc.).

Camping with activities near Lake Serre-Ponçon

During your stay at Le Petit Liou campsite, you can enjoy a varied and original activity program, to discover, have fun, and meet new people.
The free nature kids’ club offers environmental activities for children aged 6 to 12. On the program: nature discovery, making friends, and themed outings!
Each week we offer a live music concert, a family activity (live show, stargazing, game night, etc.), a hike with a mountain guide to witness cow milking in the alpine pastures, a gym or yoga session, and more.

All this information will be available during the “welcome chat” (papot d’accueil) which takes place on Monday evenings. Each activity is designed to encourage interaction, create shared memories, and help you discover the local environment in a fun way. A true bubble of conviviality just a stone’s throw from Lake Serre-Ponçon.

Is the campsite VACAF approved?

We are indeed VACAF approved. To benefit from your assistance, simply provide us with your beneficiary number when booking.

Can we pay for the reservation with holiday vouchers or ANCV Connect?

Yes, whether directly or on our website, you have the option to choose these payment methods.

What are the refund conditions in case of cancellation?

By subscribing to our NEAT cancellation insurance when booking, you can benefit from a 100% refund with proof, or 70% even without proof. The cost of the insurance represents 4% of your stay’s amount. Without subscribing to cancellation insurance, the amounts paid will be retained.

Is a security deposit required?

For accommodation rentals, we require a €270 security deposit by credit card imprint upon your arrival.

Are sheets and towels included in the accommodation?

They are not included, but you have the option to add them as an extra: €12 for a double sheet, €6 for a single sheet, and €8 for a toilet kit (1 large towel, 1 small towel, 1 washcloth).
